Companion carer
For someone still largely independent who wants company, a hand about the house and someone in the flat.
When a relative needs care every day, the family has to decide who gives it. It is rarely an easy decision. Renta Staffing Agency places carers in Yerevan and across Armenia. We look for people who are good at the work and good company. The second matters as much as the first.

What is needed depends on health and on how much they can still do for themselves.

After a stroke, with serious long-term illness, and through rehabilitation.
Works to a schedule: a few hours a day, or in shifts.
In the house all the time, with care and someone keeping an eye on them round the clock.
We set the list of tasks for each household. It follows the person’s health and the shape of their day.
Passport, health certificate, training certificates and a criminal record certificate.
We confirm the work they have done with older and seriously ill people.
We ring previous employers ourselves.
Patience, an eye for changes in someone’s condition, and whether they can build trust.
We match the arrangement to the person’s condition and to what the family can manage at home. Neither is left to chance. The schedule and the tasks go into the agreement.
| Arrangement | How it works | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Live-in | The carer is in the house at all times, keeping an eye on the person round the clock | 24/7 |
| Live-out | A set schedule, a few hours a day | 2–8 h a day |
| Shifts | A few days a week, or Monday to Friday | on a schedule |
| Temporary | While the regular carer is away, on holiday or ill | on request |

In Armenian families, looking after an older relative is not an obligation. It is an act of love. Life still sets limits: work, children, the distance between one flat and another. Coming to an agency is not handing the responsibility over. It is a decision that the care will be there every day.
Our fee is 50 % of the employee’s monthly salary, split equally between the client and the employee.
You describe the job and what matters to you. We ask about the requirements and terms.
We take the brief, sign the agreement and settle the fee. Your replacement guarantee starts here.
Within 3–5 days you receive profiles of three to five suitable candidates.
By phone, online or in person, whichever suits you.
If you wish, they work a few trial days before anything is settled.
It depends on the arrangement and on how much care the person needs. A companion for a few hours costs a good deal less than a live-in nursing carer. Our fee is worked out from the carer’s monthly salary – 50 % of one month, of which the client pays 25 %. We will give you a range once we know the person’s condition.
If there is a diagnosis that calls for procedures, readings to take or help with moving about, then yes. If the person manages alone and mainly wants somebody there to talk to, a companion carer is enough.
First profiles come 3–5 days after the agreement is signed. When it is urgent we move faster. Say so when you ring: some of our candidates can start at short notice.
It happens, and the sooner you tell us the better. When someone is frail, whether they get on with the carer matters more than anything else. The agreement allows up to three free replacements while it runs.
Yes. We stay with the family for the whole term of the agreement: adjusting the schedule, sorting out disagreements, arranging cover when the carer is ill or on holiday.
Describe your relative’s condition, the shape of the day and the hours you need. We will call you back with names.
