The assistant who has
already sorted it

A full diary leaves no room for the dozens of small things that still need doing. A family personal assistant takes on every one of them. Renta Staffing Agency places personal assistants in Yerevan and across Armenia.

  • English is a must, and discretion goes without saying
  • They see the task coming instead of waiting for a reminder
  • They know Yerevan, they know who to call, and they know how long it will take

The assistant covers whatever takes time and attention, from a doctor’s appointment to a trip put together from the flights to the hotel.

Family life

Doctors, tutors, clubs, choosing a school or a nursery, the family diary and the dates that matter.

Travel

Flights, hotels and villas, routes, visas, transfers and meeting people at the airport.

House and errands

Tradesmen and repair crews, ordering goods, tracking down rare things, following up on jobs.

Entertaining

Restaurants, family parties, presents, tickets to private events, wine and flowers.

Duties

What the assistant takes on

We agree the range of tasks around the way the household runs, and it changes as the diary does.

  • Booking doctors and specialists for everyone in the family
  • Finding tutors, coaches and clubs that suit what the children are interested in
  • Choosing a school or nursery, with the reputation properly checked
  • Keeping the family diary: birthdays, anniversaries, whatever is coming up
  • Finding and booking flights, hotels, villas and apartments
  • The whole trip: route, tickets, transfer, what to do when you are there
  • Visa applications and help with documents
  • Calling out a plumber, an electrician, cleaners, a building crew
  • Ordering things for the house and tracking down what is hard to find
  • Booking restaurants and arranging family celebrations
  • Choosing presents to suit the occasion and the person
How we check a candidate

What we check

1

Documents and history

An assistant gets close to the family, so we check them more thoroughly than anyone else.

2

Real experience

Only candidates whose experience we can verify and whose referees we have spoken to.

3

Languages and manner

English is not optional. We also judge how well they negotiate and settle a matter.

4

Interview in person

Initiative, an eye for detail, tact and a sense of where the line is.

Hours

Ways of working

The schedule and the range of tasks go into the agreement. Overtime and trips outside Armenia we settle separately.

Why this matters in Yerevan

Business in Yerevan keeps getting busier: more meetings, more to do, less time left over. The role of the personal assistant, though, is still new in Armenia, and finding someone genuinely qualified on your own is hard. We know this market from the inside.

  • Our own register of candidates, with references we have taken up ourselves
  • First profiles within 3–5 days of signing
  • A replacement if the person is not right for you
  • Confidentiality at every stage of the search
  • Yerevan and the regions of Armenia

How the payment works

  • At signing the client pays their 25 %, and the employee’s 25 % in one go.
  • The employee then receives their first month’s salary minus that 25 %.
  • On a replacement the new employee pays us 25 %. For you the replacement is free.
  • A shorter agreement is possible; we discuss the terms case by case.

Questions

What people ask most often

How does an assistant differ from a house manager?

A house manager runs the house and the staff: rotas, budget, contractors. An assistant runs the family’s life outside the house: doctors, travel, schools, events, paperwork. In a large household these are two jobs.

What does a personal assistant cost in Yerevan?

The salary follows the range of tasks, the languages and whether the assistant travels. Our fee is 50 % of the monthly salary, of which the client pays 25 %. We give a range once we have talked through the work and the hours.

How far into private matters does the assistant go?

As far as the task needs and no further. We choose candidates with a developed sense of where the line is: they take no interest in the family’s private life beyond what the work requires, and they do not discuss the client outside it.

Is English necessary?

Usually, yes – for bookings, correspondence with services abroad and visa matters. Other languages by arrangement.

What if the assistant does not suit?

The agreement allows up to three free replacements. We stay with the family for the whole term and help redraw the duties if they need changing.
