This policy is written under the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Protection of Personal Data (ZR-49, in force since 1 July 2015). It sets out what we collect on renta.am, why we need it, who we pass it to, and how you can get it back or have it deleted.

This version is dated 9 September 2026. A lawyer qualified in Armenian law must review the document before the site goes live.

1. Who we are

The data controller is MaxMedia LLC, trading as Renta Staffing Agency. We have placed household and office staff in Yerevan and across Armenia since 2017. Questions about your data go to office@renta.am or +374 41 303 395.

2. The words used here

Personal data is anything that identifies a particular person: a name, a phone number, an email address, a record of where someone has worked.

Processing is everything we do with it: receiving it, writing it down, storing it, showing it to a client, correcting it, deleting it.

Data subject is you: the client who made an enquiry, or the candidate who sent us a profile.

3. What we collect

From the enquiry form: your name, your phone number, and whatever you write in the message field – the kind of person you need, the hours, sometimes the ages of the children.

From the candidate form: name, phone number, the role, work experience and qualifications.

The site does not collect data on health, religion, ethnicity or any other special category. Health certificates, criminal record certificates and qualifications are needed for placement, but we ask for those separately, in person, with a separate written consent.

4. Why we need it

To call you back about your enquiry, agree what you need and put candidates in front of you. To offer work to a candidate. To perform the agreement we sign with you. Data from this site is not used for advertising or mailing lists.

5. On what basis

One of two: your consent, given when you tick the box before sending a form, or the performance of an agreement to which you are a party. You can withdraw consent at any time – section 9 explains how.

6. Who we pass it to

A client’s details are not disclosed to candidates beyond what the work requires: the person we put forward learns exactly as much as the job needs.

A candidate’s profile goes to a client only once the candidate has agreed to that particular position.

We do not sell data and we do not pass it to third parties for advertising. Data goes to state bodies only on a request made in the form the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry data: while the search runs and for the term of the agreement, then for as long as Armenian tax and accounting law requires.

Candidate profiles: while the person is on our books. If you ask us to delete a profile sooner, we delete it.

8. How we protect it

Only the staff who need it for their work can reach the data, and each of them has signed a confidentiality undertaking. Data leaves the site over a secure connection. Paper forms are kept in a locked cabinet at the office.

9. Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you and where we got it; ask us to correct anything inaccurate; ask us to delete it; withdraw your consent; or tell us not to pass your data to a particular client.

Write to office@renta.am or ring +374 41 303 395. We answer within the period the law of the Republic of Armenia sets, and we do not charge for it.

10. Cookies

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not follow you between sites. The technical files the pages need in order to work contain no personal data.

11. If we have not put things right

Write to us first – almost everything is settled in one conversation. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the matter to the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia: 54b Komitas Avenue, Yerevan 0051, telephone +374 10 594 194, pdpa.am. You may also go to court.

12. Changes

The current version always sits on this page, dated at the top. If a change affects your rights, we will tell you at the address or number you gave us.
