The children and the house –
one pair of hands

With small children at home and a working day that runs past dark, something always slips. A nanny-housekeeper looks after both the child and the house. Renta Staffing Agency places nanny-housekeepers in Yerevan and across Armenia.

  • One person instead of two – the saving shows in the household budget
  • We never put anyone forward without experience: not everyone can carry both jobs at once
  • The work is spread across the day, not piled on all at once

How it works

Not two jobs at once – one day, properly planned

While the child sleeps, is at nursery or out with you, the housework gets done. That is a day planned properly, not two jobs squeezed into one. And it is one salary rather than two.

Morning – the children

Waking, washing, breakfast, the walk to nursery or school.

Daytime – the house

Cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, the food shopping.

After school – back to the children

A walk, games, homework, supper.

Evening – winding down

Bath and bedtime, the kitchen left straight for the morning.

Yerevan and the rest of Armenia

Why families in Yerevan are asking for this

Yerevan gets busier every year: work, traffic, school, the house. Armenian families still take their time over the person who will be near their children, and they are right to. We are not here to fill the job in a hurry. We look for the person who will still be with you in a year.

  • Our own register of candidates, with references we have taken up ourselves
  • First profiles within 3–5 days of signing
  • A replacement if the person is not right for you
  • Confidentiality at every stage of the search

Questions

What people ask most often

How is a nanny-housekeeper different from a nanny?

A nanny looks after the child and nothing else: games, walks, meals, bedtime. A housekeeper looks after the house. A nanny-housekeeper does both, spread across the day – the housework while the child sleeps, is at nursery or with you.

Is that too much for one person?

The load is real, which is why we never put anyone forward without experience. Someone who cannot cope is more of a hindrance than a help. The size of the job goes into the agreement, so that what you expect and what she has agreed to are the same.

What does a nanny-housekeeper cost in Yerevan?

The salary is higher than a nanny’s and lower than two separate salaries – that is the point of the arrangement. Our fee is 50 % of one month’s salary, of which the client pays 25 %. We will give you a range once we have talked about the family and the workload.

Can she live in?

Yes. A live-in nanny-housekeeper is with the family through the day and works five days a week with two days off. It suits a large house, several children, or parents whose hours are long.

What if she does not suit?

The agreement allows up to three free replacements. We stay in touch after the first day and help sort out whatever comes up.
